Let your AI assistant find your orders

Claude, with your Gmail connected, finds your order emails and forwards them to Brummell, pictures included. It works on the free Claude plan, no subscription needed. You check the pieces in the app before they join your wardrobe.

Before you start

  • Connect your email to Claude

In Claude, open Settings, Connectors, and connect Gmail. Claude can forward emails for you; other assistants we tried can only read them.

  • Use the email address you signed up to Brummell with

We match each email to your account by the address it comes from. Emails forwarded from another address get a short reply and add nothing.

Step 1: copy the prompt

Pick a time span. The last 2 years covers most wardrobes. Already done that? Run it again with 2 to 4 years ago.

Step 2: paste it into a new chat

Open a new Claude chat, choose Sonnet 5.5 with medium effort, paste the prompt and send it. A big mailbox can take a few minutes.

Step 3: let it forward

Claude asks before it forwards. Choose Always allow so you don't have to tap for every email. Claude has usage limits, and on the free plan it may stop partway through: when your limit resets, type continue in the same chat and it picks up where it stopped. Forwarding the same email twice is fine.

What happens next

Once the emails stop arriving, you get one note in Brummell saying what we found. The pieces wait as drafts with their store photos. Keep what you own and remove the rest. Children's clothes and anything that isn't clothing are left out, and items you returned are taken off when the refund email comes through.

Good to know

  • Assistants can miss things

They don't always find every order, and now and then they get a detail wrong. That's why every piece waits for your check.

  • Prefer to do it yourself?

You can still forward order emails to add@brummell.tech.

  • Your privacy

Claude reads your email under its own terms, not ours. We only see the emails it forwards, and we use them to add the pieces to your wardrobe. The details are in the privacy policy.
